Jean Talon Market

I was told that we were going to a farmer's market, but what I didn't know at the time was that our destination was actually the largest open-air market in all of North America.

That's a lot of garlic!

They call corndogs "pogos" here. We got a couple pogos from this place that's pretty lowkey about having a full vegan menu (you can see it barely in the bottom right corner.)

We also got tacos from another stand. Unbeknownst to us (due to French), there was beet puree on the vegetarian ones. I didn't even notice because beet tastes like virtually nothing to me, but Erika absolutely despises the flavor of beets. We looked into it, and the main flavor of beets comes from a chemical called geosmin which also comes out of the soil when it rains. And some people taste/smell it much stronger than others.

The parking garage may smell like pollution like all the others, but at least they tried to make it look cute.
