Olive Bread
Sep 09, 2022 | Montreal, QC
Not too much going on today. The most interesting aspect was unbeknownst to us at the time, but since I'm writing this several days later and have the benefit of hindsight, we spoke to our future friend Eliana for the second time on this day when we went into the boulangerie (bakery) where she works (Boulangerie Pain à Tartine aka "PAT"). But we wouldn't exchange numbers until the next time we come in which happens to be tomorrow.

Got some new bills. CAD are quite colorful compared to USD, but the most striking difference is that they are made of plastic. Weird feeling, but it allows for some pretty high tech looking holographics.

We bought some "olive bread" (idk what the French name is) from Eliana at PAT and then took it over to another coffee shop on our street called Les Ecoeurants. We meant to take the olive bread home but after we each took a bite it turned out to be too good to last and we ate the whole thing.
