Twin Falls

We decided to check out the other side of the Sculpture Falls trail which actually leads to Twin Falls. We wanted to scope it out before Brian's cousin Aaron came to visit the next day so we could see if we’d want to take him there. The parking lot was right off of the freeway, in the gravel on the side of the road. There was a TON of broken glass all over the ground so we made sure to not leave anything in the car exposed. The hike was easy and the falls were really nice. No one was swimming, probably because the toxic water signs were still up at the trail entrance. However, we had already been doing our research online and the city of Austin’s water department said that the water was tested either today or the day before and was totally fine to swim in. They just never took down the signs. Erika jumped in first and it was really cold. Brian jumped in after and filmed it with the GoPro. He swam over to this rocky area where the falls fell down into the water. It was bubbly like a hot tub so he liked it there. Eventually, some guy and his dog started swimming there and jumping off of the rocks, so we weren’t alone. We finished swimming and walked back to the car. Our windows did not get smashed.
