Bike Ride to the Butterfly Garden

We hadn’t used our bikes much since leaving Boulder because Austin is not much of a bike city, but we had discovered a new park after going to the vegan cheese restaurant Rebel Cheese and planned to come back to ride there (and eat more vegan cheese.) We also played the Settlers of Catan card game (Struggle for Catan). The park is Mueller Lake Park, which also connects by paths to the Southwest Greenway. We had only seen the beginning of the bike paths when we had scoped it out originally, but after riding them we found all kinds of interesting features such as a small man-made lake, a pink “butterfly garden”, and a sculpture garden. On our bike ride back to the park, we stopped by B.D. Riley's, an Irish bar, and each grabbed a beer.
