Night at the Museum

We went to midtown and got coffee at a little European style coffee shop called Cafe Intermezzo. Erika got coffee with a chocolate rim and a slice of cake that was chocolate with peanut butter mousse. We both really liked it enough to actually came back and get a slice on another day. We then went to Piedmont park and walked around. They have a big walking/jogging track there called the "active oval" and we took note so we could come back and run on another day.
In the evening we went to an event at the Fernbank museum. It was billed as an adults-only party---which it was---but we found it a bit under-planned. It was pretty much just the same exhibits presented in the same way they would be at any other time of day, except that it was at night and there were drinks being sold. It was still fun even though they did very little to make it festive though. At one point we found a guy's license out in this obstacle course type area outside in the back. We were really hoping we could find him on our own for fun, but in the end we couldn't find him around the museum or online. So we gave it to the security guards.
