What Our Abode Looked Like

This is what our house looked like most of the time. It was so small and generally just very quaint. It really felt perfect for the winter. It was cheaper than most of our spots, which made sense for its size. However, I have some of the coziest memories at this house that I don't think I will ever forget.

I especially won't forget the clothes washer. That thing (for lack of a million better words) was a 2 in 1 washer and dryer combo. Sounds pretty cool, right? Well that's the last thing that it was. It took well over 3 hours to run its full cycle, which it would LIE about. Washer: "15 minutes remaining", while about 45 go by. "So what?" you might think. But that wasn't all. It also would LOCK OUR CLOTHES INSIDE. Seriously. It would lock our clothes in and it was no telling when it would unlock. Your guess was as good as mine. The saddest part of all is that this was only our first encounter with this style of washing machine, as we soon realized it is a relatively common occurrence in Airbnb rentals.

Bottom line: the house was cozy and perfect for us, the washer sucked ass.
