NY State Museum

Jul 24, 2022 | Albany, NY

We got breakfast and had a work morning at a café called Rooted & Rind. It was pretty smokey inside and burned Erika's eyes too much after a bit, so we left after about an hour. But hey, we got a bit of stuff done at least and the sandwiches were good. They came on the classic "hard roll" that isn't actually hard at all.

We still have a few museums and galleries to hit before we take off on the 7th, so it was time we got to it. We hit the NY State Museum first, which is kind of like the most "official" museum in town, and therefore is free to the public. It actually ended up being way more expansive than we expected, and we were only able to cover about half of it. We saw the side that was something akin to the "Human History" of NYS. We'll have to come back another day and do the "Natural History" side.
